Administered by the Council of Better Business Bureaus, the Auto Line program is a new vehicle arbitration program that is based upon each individual state’s Lemon Law, but has added benefits to the consumer. Each manufacturer has expanded upon the Lemon Law when creating its program summary, usually allowing a longer period of time for consumers to file for relief. There is no charge to consumers for using the program, and the end decision of an arbitrator is binding on the manufacturer, but not on the consumer.
